Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.

I submit to you that if a man hasn't discovered something he will die for, he isn't fit to live.

And I've looked over, and I've seen the promised land. I may not get there with you, but I want you to know tonight that we as a people will get to the promised land. So I'm happy tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm not fearing any man.

THIS IS HOW WE CAN REMEMBER MARTIN LUTHER KING

I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. That is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.Martin Luther King Jr., Accepting Nobel Peace Prize, Dec. 10, 1964

I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. I refuse to accept the cynical notion ... I believe that wounded justice, lying prostrate on the blood-flowing streets of our nations, can be lifted from this dust of shame to reign supreme among the children of men." ? Martin Luther King, Jr., Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech, Dec. 10, 1964 ...

AFRICA CAN MAKE CHANGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anybody really think that they didn't get what they had because they didn't have the talent or the strength or the endurance or the commitm

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

I dream of the realization of the unity of Africa, whereby its leaders combine in their efforts to solve the problems of this continent. I dream of our vast deserts, of our forests, of all our great wildernesses.

I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear

If you want to make peace with your enemy, you have to work with your enemy. Then he becomes your partner

I detest racialism, because I regard it as a barbaric thing, whether it comes from a black man or a white man

Money won't create success, the freedom to make it will.
Never, never and never again shall it be that this beautiful land will again experience the oppression of one by another
There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountaintop of our desires

There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered

we need change!!!!!!!!

If the people cannot trust their government to do the job for which it exists - to protect them and to promote their common welfare - all else is lost.

It was the labor movement that helped secure so much of what we take for granted today. The 40-hour work week, the minimum wage, family leave, health insurance, Social Security, Medicare, retirement plans. The cornerstones of the middle-class security all bear the union label.

In the end, that's what this election is about. Do we participate in a politics of cynicism or a politics of hope?

Now, anybody who thinks that we can move this economy forward with just a few folks at the top doing well, hoping that it's going to trickle down to working people who are running faster and faster just to keep up, you'll never see it.

This is the moment when we must build on the wealth that open markets have created, and share its benefits more equitably. Trade has been a cornerstone of our growth and global development. But we will not be able to sustain this growth if it favors the few, and not the many

Tonight, we gather to affirm the greatness of our nation - not because of the height of our skyscrapers, or the power of our military, or the size of our economy. Our pride is based on a very simple premise, summed up in a declaration made over two hundred years ago.
We have an obligation and a responsibility to be investing in our students and our schools. We must make sure that people who have the grades, the desire and the will, but not the money, can still get the best education possible

We need to steer clear of this poverty of ambition, where people want to drive fancy cars and wear nice clothes and live in nice apartments but don't want to work hard to accomplish these things. Everyone should try to realize their full potential
